Dr David Jollie leads Anglo American’s market intelligence on the platinum group metals sector as well as their Western hemisphere sales of the same commodities. He has over twenty years’ experience in the precious metals sector, having started work as a designer of catalytic converters for diesel cars before working on market analysis and market development, including in fuel cells. He spent five years editing Johnson Matthey’s reviews of the platinum group metal sector before joining Mitsui Precious Metals as their Head of Research and then moving into the mining sector with Anglo American. He has a degree in chemistry from the University of Oxford and a doctorate in inorganic chemistry from the University of Nottingham, also in the UK. He has a particular interest in clean transport, hydrogen and fuel cells.
